Dating multiple guys
Let’s say you have 3 different people that you’re dating at once. You kiss and hug each of them, and I’m not referring to the church hugs. Most single women who are dating will complain that finding ‘Mr Right’ is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Nine, it likely will cloud your judgement as far as any one guy. (Usual disclaimer, not all men are like that, not all women are like that.
Thanks to a concept called “preselection” women will often be more attracted to a man who is with another attractive woman. Women don’t have to worry a baby “might not be hers” so women don’t really understand how deeply ingrained and visceral this repulsion is in men.
Five, it triggers an ancient and long held fear in men of being cuckholded — that should you get pregnant, the baby might not be his.
Going on dates with a few people gives you perspective.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and when you are caught up in the moment during a date you might think that the guy is really funny and thoughtful but it’s not until you go on a date with someone else that you realise that actually the first guy wasn’t as great as you thought.
“Rotations give you the opportunity to not close doors on people who may be great for you.
People who get involved too quickly shut out others because they don’t rotate dates.
Next thing you know, you wake up to find yourself in a position that you were trying to avoid.
Things can escalate quickly so don’t blur the lines. I hope you can see where this could be an issue because if this is protocol for all the people you’re dating, well, that’s a problem.
Let's be real, you'll probably never meet a single guy/gal who isn't in a complicated situation with/dating/sleeping with/"chillin" with/ being courted by someone else...what's the harm in doing the same?
Dating in the western culture for Christians is so confusing if you ask me. If that’s the case, then shouldn’t I just continue my walk and eventually whoever God has for me will come? I get it, but that is also kind of like saying, “We have to live together before we get married because that’s how I’ll know if I can marry this person”.
I had people argue me down about how they felt it was OK to date multiple people.
